in order to play softball, you need feet.

My friend, Tiffani, has decided to share her feet with the world. Here is one from Softball Spring Training trip in 2006. They were going to the Ozarks, in Arkansas. This is actually one of her feet, and the foot of one of her students. :)

Tiff says, "I love taking feet photos, and often take them just for fun when I am doing random things." Check out what Tif is doing by visiting her blog, Tiff's Life Now.

a buck seventy five for a movie? i'm in.

The boyfriend and I went to the Starplex Supersaver movie theatre last Friday to watch Wanted. It is customary for me to put my feet up on the seat in front of me to make sure no one sits there, thus blocking my view. Wanted was worth $1.75 but not much more than that. I was a little disapointed.

What do you think about movie trivia prior to the flick? Too easy or too hard? At the movie we remarked that our friend Kathryn would DEFINITELY know all of the answers...I miss her.

lazy saturday

Yesterday I slept in til noon, and then went swimming with my friend, Carrie and husband Marc. These are my feet by the pool before getting in. That is part of the yummy sandwich the boyfriend made. And no, I did not wait 30 minutes before swimming, old wives out there!

this is what i do almost everyday.

Here I am sitting at Common Grounds, a coffee shop near Baylor University applying for jobs at various universities. My foot is peeking around my resume on the computer screen. My usual spot, a low brown couch, was available today and I am listening to Patty Griffin Radio on Pandora Radio.

testing...1, 2...hello?... is this thing on?

Why hello. So glad you found me. Welcome to my own two feet, a photoblog of sorts about my (and hopefully your) two feet and all the places they go.

I remember when I was a child I went to all kinds of camps during the summer- church camp, choir camp, cheerleading camp, even a camp for other kids that had the same life insurrance as me. This was before the time of digital cameras for the common man, so we all brought either throw away cameras or the ones that a 12 year old could hardly load. We took terrible pictures of people we would never see again. Inevitably, my camera would temporarily get lost in the dining hall, the bath house, the gym, the cabin floor, or the pool.

When I finally got around to developing the film (you know, about a year later) there would be numerous photos of random feet in the dining hall, the bath house, the gym, on the cabin floor, and at the pool. What a favorite past time of campers and tourists alike!

Recently I was thinking about these photos and I thought it might be fun to intentionally capture images of my own feet (and all the places they go) and assemble these images on a blog for all to enjoy.

Hopefully you do not tire of looking at my feet as you peruse, comment, and submit your own photos!

If you would like to contribute, please send a photo (plus story or caption) to melissadgruver[at]gmail[dot]com. If you include your blog address, I will link to it as well. (Please put "feet photo" in the suject line.
